Facility-wide protection for your equipment

Your first line of attackshould be a meter-based surge protection device. This type of system is designed to prevent your major motor driven appliances — such as air conditioner compressors, water heaters and heat pumps — from being damaged by momentary electrical spikes and surges.

In most cases this equipment can be installed free of charge, and you pay just a small monthly charge to operate it. For your convenience, this monthly fee is included on your power bill.

Point-of-use protection for more sensitive devices

The second level of surge protection is an indoor, point of use surge protector for smaller and more delicate equipment such as computers, telephones, fax machines, TVs, VCRs and microwave ovens. We can even recommend surge protectors for cable and telephone lines.

We provide a separate bill for point of use surge protectors, which are usually shipped in two to three weeks.
