Participating Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Consultants/Contractors
Georgia Power's Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program is currently only available to Metro Atlanta home owners.
Home improvement contractors, certified by The Building Performance Institute, Inc., will perform a thorough whole-house Home Performance with ENERGY STAR assessment. Choosing a contractor qualified to work in Georgia Power's home performance program will then provide you a complete cost effective report of improvements for your home and inform you of energy efficiency incentives.
Georgia Power recommends selecting a qualified contractor approved to participate as a Georgia Power Home Performance contractor. Whether you have problems with a drafty house or if you know your furnace or air conditioner needs to be replaced, a Home Performance contractor working through Georgia Power's program will address your needs.
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) provides tax incentives for home builders who build energy efficient homes. Learn more (PDF 155KB).
