Southern Company contracted with Mustang Engineering, an engineering design and project management contractor headquartered in Houston, Texas, to perform detailed engineering design of the Plant McDonough pipeline. The company manages more than 4,700 projects worldwide for more than 300 clients. During the pipeline construction phase, Mustang Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the work of U.S. Pipeline contractors and subcontractors involved in the construction.
