Boating and fishing are accessible from the Sandy Point Recreation Area.

Sandy Point Access Area

Located just south of Bartlett's Ferry Dam tailrace, Sandy Point Access Area sits on the west side of Goat Rock Lake in Lee County, Alabama. While this is a good spot for bank fishermen because of the available shoreline, there is also a paved boat ramp, a picnic area with several tables, and a parking lot.

NOTICE:

GOAT ROCK MARINA
The re-development of Goat Rock Marina has been completed and the facility is now open. The facility is completely renovated with an enlarged paved parking area, new courtesy dock, a restroom, and area lighting. The access road to the marina has also been paved.

PO-BOY LANDING
A restroom facility has been added at Po-Boy’s Landing and will be available for use mid-March 2008. The facility is located at the entrance to the large parking lot across the road from the launching area.
