Kilowatt Korner to move business online

Kilowatt Korner is moving its business completely online and plans to unveil its enhanced online retail store in January 2010. The online store will open with the goal of becoming Southern Company employees' premier source for company promotional items and merchandise.

Although the store in Georgia Power's headquarters building is closing, the Web site will offer hundreds of branded items available to all of Southern Company's operating companies. Product lines will include apparel, drinkware, golf items and collectibles.

"We will continue to focus on excellent customer service and providing high-quality products," said Stephanie O'Melia, Kilowatt Korner team leader. "Our staff also will remain available by telephone and for personal meetings."
