
Chris Aycock has been selected as assistant to general manager of distribution, engineering, construction and maintenance. Aycock began his career with Georgia Power in 2000 as an engineer-in-training. His most recent position was financial accounting controls supervisor in Transmission.

Kelley Balkcom has been selected as a comptroller in the Resource Management organization. Balkcom began her career with Georgia Power as a buyer for Kilowatt Korner. Her most recent position was Pricing and Rates analyst.

Michael Collins has been selected as protection and control field services team leader in Savannah. Collins began his career at Georgia Power as a test engineer in Valdosta in 2001. Most recently, he worked as protection and control field services team leader in Valdosta.

Matthew Garner has been selected as protection and control field services team leader for the Columbus and Newnan area. Garner started at Georgia Power as an intern in the Athens Transmission Maintenance Center in 2001. He was hired on full time as a design engineer in Transmission line design later the same year.

Tim Hester has been selected as engineering supervisor II in Madison. Hester began his career with Georgia Power as a co-op student in 1984 at Raburn Gap Operating Headquarters. Since 2006, he has worked as a distribution engineer in Madison area.

David Johnson has been selected as Transmission Maintenance Center (TMC) supervisor for Albany and Valdosta. Johnson began his career with Georgia Power as a cooperative education student in 1983, becoming full time as a junior engineer with Test Engineering in 1987. Most recently, he worked as a TMC supervisor in Albany.

Tony Rogers has been selected as Transmission capital budget resource team supervisor. Rogers began his career with Georgia Power in 1982 as a distribution engineer in Cedartown. Most recently, he worked as Transmission project manager.
