Large Business Rates

Greater than 500kW

We want to help you better manage your energy usage and help you lower your power bill without having a negative impact on your day-to-day operations. To better manage your business' energy use; we want to help you learn more about how your peak energy demand will affect your power bill. We have created rates that will match your need. Large Business customers have an electricity demand that is greater than 500 kW. Customers that fall into the Large Business category can include large department stores, large grocery stores, warehouses, car dealerships, manufacturing facilities, large office buildings, stadiums, and convention & trade centers. Power and Light - Large
For customers with a maximum demand of 500 kW or greater.

Power and Light - High Load Factor
For customers with a maximum demand of 10,000 kW or greater and a load factor of at least 75%.

Time of Use - Special Service Demand
For customers who have shorter hours of operation or have the ability to shift usage away from the summer peak period of 2 to 7 pm, weekdays.

Time of Use - High Load Factor
Applicable to Commercial customers who initially place twenty (20) or more accounts on TOU-HLF. Each account must maintain an average monthly load factor over the prior twelve (12) months of sixty percent (60%) or greater including at least one (1) monthly peak actual demand of 526 kW or greater during the months of June through September.

Multiple Load Management
Available to customers served by the Company with two (2) or more existing premises provided that each premises must have at least 1,000 kW metered demand or greater in at least one (1) month out of twelve (12). All premises must be owned exclusively by the qualifying customer.

Time of Use - Revenue Neutral
For customers who either 1) were served on the Fixed Pricing Alternative (FPA-3) tariff, as of December, 2010 and have been continuously served on TOU-RN since January, 2011, or 2) have accepted a one time TOU-RN offer from the Company as a result of the customer's tariff having been discontinued by order of the Georgia Public Service Commission.
