Nights and Weekends is designed for customers that want to save money by changing when they use electricity during summer months. By changing when you wash your dishes, do your laundry, or run your air conditioner during peak periods you can realize considerable savings over the course of a year. If you enroll in this plan, you must commit to stay on the rate for at least twelve months. Sign up now for Nights & Weekends.
Georgia Power's peak period is from 2:00PM to 7:00PM on summer weekdays for the months June - September. This is the time when customers use the most electricity and it costs the most to produce.
When you shift some of your usage out of the peak time period, Georgia Power passes the savings on to you. It is possible to experience a higher bill on Nights and Weekends if you do not shift your usage.
Whether it's to save money or just be more efficient, Nights and Weekends can help you enjoy significant savings by making smarter choices about when and how you use electricity. If you can shift your usage... sign up for Nights and Weekends online by clicking here or by calling 1-888-660-5890.

By choosing to participate in the residential time-of-use Nights and Weekends rate plan, you
agree to pay the monthly Nights and Weekends kWh usage amount for electric service to the
designated residence shown on the reverse side for at least twelve months, beginning with the first
bill rendered on the Nights and Weekends rate.
These Nights and Weekends terms apply only for electric service to the designated account(s)
and address. If you transfer service to another address, you will need to reapply for the Nights and
Weekends rate.
Your Nights and Weekends offer does not include fuel, taxes, and other charges, nor does it
include Georgia Power security lights, or other Georgia Power products and services should you
have any.
Georgia Power can only offer the residential time-of-use/Nights and Weekends rate to customers
who have had the AMI/smart meter installed on their residence. This meter replacement program
is currently underway on a statewide basis. No timeline for a specific meter replacement can be
guaranteed for any individual residence.
Georgia Power offers the Nights and Weekends rate plan pursuant to the current residential rate
filing, which is on file with the Georgia Public Service Commission.
This rate is not available to customers currently billed on Georgia Power's Flatbill® program.
