Georgia Power can help you choose a rate schedule (often called a tariff) for your business. Rate Finder is a tool designed to help you choose between the many different rates schedules that Georgia Power has to offer.
Many customers qualify for more than one rate. Based on your answers regarding your electricity use and business operations, our Rate Finder tool will select a rate that matches your business needs.* Rate Finder takes into consideration your type of business, your anticipated peak load throughout a twelve-month period, and your ability to shift your electricity consumption to “off-peak” hours (typically between 9:00 pm to Noon). You will need to know some specifics regarding your electricity usage so having a copy of your bill will be helpful.
* Rate Finder is only intended to assist your decision-making process. You should check all rates and cross reference your energy use with recommended rate schedules before committing to a rate. Your choice is important because you must stay on the chosen or assigned rate for at least 12 months.
