With the storm expected to impact much of our state, please remember to keep safety top of mind. Freezing temperatures, ice-covered roads and sidewalks, weakened trees, and the potential for downed power lines, all contribute to hazardous conditions.
We have pre-staged crews around the state who are ready to respond as soon as it is safe to do so.
Please remember:
- Never use generators indoors.
- Always follow the instructions supplied with your generator model.
- Never leave candles unattended.
- Maintain ventilation around fireplaces.
- Use space heaters only on level surfaces.
- Keep heaters away from furniture, curtains, water, children, and pets.
