Online Payments (Checking/Savings Account)
You may use your checking or savings account for free. Also, you have a choice to log in or not. If you log in, your account information will be provided automatically. If you do not log in, you will need your account number and the access code from your bill.

Online Payments (Credit Card & Debit Card)
Pay no transaction fee when using your debit card. As a valued customer, you can now make your payments online using your debit card completely free of charge when you login to your account. You can make credit card payments for a convenience fee of $2.25 through BillMatrix, a company separate from Georgia Power, who adds a convenience fee per credit card transaction. You will need to have your account number available.

Authorized Payment Locations
You can choose from more than 4,000 Authorized Payment Locations to pay your bill. Your payment will be posted securely and immediately. Authorized Payment Locations are open evenings and weekends when local offices are closed. Authorized Payment Locations include, but are not limited to, Kroger, Walmart, Publix and Kmart. When you visit an Authorized Payment Location, you will need your power bill or your account number. A low transaction fee of $1.50 will be added.

You may submit your payment by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call 1-800-672-2402 to be directed to the Georgia Power Payment System by BillMatrix. You will need your Georgia Power account number. There is a fee of $2.25 to make a payment using your debit or credit card.
Auto Pay takes the hassle out of paying your power bill. You can authorize your bill amount to be automatically debited from your checking or savings account. There is no fee for this service. With Auto Pay, we will continue to read your meter and calculate your bill each month. You will continue to receive your bill as normal, but instead of "Please Pay By" on the bill, you will see the date when your bank account will be drafted for the amount of your bill.
