Georgia Set to be Leader in Energy Storage

Georgia Public Service Commission has unanimously approved Georgia Power's 20-year plan to meet the state's future energy needs, including battery energy storage, 72% more renewable generation by 2024 and environmental plans.

Georgia Power hosts Minority Chamber of Commerce Forum

Georgia Power Corporate Relations, in collaboration with Supplier Diversity, hosted the inaugural Minority Chamber of Commerce Forum on Friday, Nov. 1.  Fifty attendees representing 12 diverse Chambers of Commerce participated in the forum. The event covered a range of topics focused on the needs of small businesses, including Georgia Power’s small business programs, certifications, and how to become part of our Supplier Diversity network.
