Checking/Savings Account

Pay your bill online. Just click the "Pay Bill" link below. Logging in gives the ability to store your banking information. If you choose to pay without logging in, you will need your account number and your access code from your bill.

Georgia Power CheckOut is an easy and convenient way to pay your bill where you shop. Obtain your barcode on our website, and take it to a participating retail location near you to pay your Georgia Power bill.

We make it easy to do business with us. We've added more than 2,600 Authorized Payment Locations so you can choose a time and place that is convenient for you to make a payment. You can pay when you shop at retailers such as Kroger, Walmart, Publix and Kmart.

Credit Card

Credit Card

You can make credit card payments for a convenience fee of $2.25. Credit card payments are processed through BillMatrix, a separate company not affiliated with Georgia Power, which adds a convenience fee of $2.25 per transaction. You will need to have your account number available.

Local Office

Visit your local office and make a payment at no charge. Debit and credit cards are now accepted at your local office with no transaction fee. Find a local office near you.

NOTE: Please be sure to include your account number with your mailed-in payment. Mailing your payment may take between 3 to 5 business days to process and post to your account.

Pay By Phone

You may submit your payment by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call 1-800-672-2402 to be directed to the Georgia Power Payment System by BillMatrix. You will need your Georgia Power account number. There is a fee of $2.25 to make a payment using your checking/savings account, debit or credit card.

Auto Pay

Auto Pay takes the hassle out of paying your power bill. You can authorize your bill amount to be automatically debited from your checking or savings account. There is no fee for this service. With Auto Pay, we will continue to read your meter and calculate your bill each month. You will continue to receive your bill as normal, but instead of "Please Pay By" on the bill, you will see the date when your bank account will be drafted for the amount of your bill.
