The Home Energy Improvement Program empowers manufactured homeowners and renters to implement energy efficiency upgrades. We offer rebates for installing qualifying energy-saving upgrades. This keeps bills down and improves comfort in your home. Get started with a simple assessment by finding a participating program contractor.

Rebates: 50% of cost up to $750* per year

Only need to make a few energy efficiency changes? Then this is the path for you. See the types of individual improvements that you can make in your home to receive Georgia Power rebates.

Must be a Georgia Power residential customer.

*HVAC and water heating equipment do not count toward the Individual Improvements cap.

Participating program contractor required 50% of cost up to:

$300 Air Sealing

 

Participating program contractor or licensed professional required 50% of cost up to:

$300 Duct Sealing 
$1,000 Ductless Mini-Split & Ground Source Heat Pumps
$150 Home Energy Assessment
$1,100 Whole House – 20% Electric Reduction
$1,250 Air Source Heat Pump

Looking for a holistic approach? To qualify, your participating program contractor will ensure that you can reduce electric energy use by 20% once improvements are made.

*If your Program Contractor does not believe you can reach a 20% electric reduction then they may recommend you complete the program through the Individual Improvements approach.

Rebate Details

Qualified customers who complete the recommended improvements and achieve a 20% energy reduction are eligible for a rebate of 50% of cost up to $1,250.

  • Up to $150 towards your home energy assessment 
  • Up to $1,100 towards eligible energy efficiency home improvements
