The Home Energy Improvement Program empowers manufactured homeowners and renters to implement energy efficiency upgrades. We offer rebates for installing qualifying energy-saving upgrades. This keeps bills down and improves comfort in your home. Get started with a simple assessment by finding a participating program contractor.

Rebates: 50% of cost up to $750* per year

Must be a Georgia Power residential customer.

*HVAC and water heating equipment do not count toward the Individual Improvements cap.

$1,100 Whole House – 20% Electric Reduction
$1,250 Air Source Heat Pump

Looking for a holistic approach? To qualify, your participating program contractor will ensure that you can reduce electric energy use by 20% once improvements are made.

*If your Program Contractor does not believe you can reach a 20% electric reduction then they may recommend you complete the program through the Individual Improvements approach.

Rebate Details

Qualified customers who complete the recommended improvements and achieve a 20% energy reduction are eligible for a rebate of 50% of cost up to $1,250.

  • Up to $150 towards your home energy assessment 
  • Up to $1,100 towards eligible energy efficiency home improvements
