The Conyers – Klondike 230 kV project consists of a new 8.5-mile transmission line that will run between the Conyers Substation in Rockdale County and the Klondike Substation in Dekalb County. In some locations, the Conyers–Klondike 230 kV transmission line will follow the existing Conyers - Klondike 230 kV transmission corridor. In other areas, a new corridor will be created where required by the project design.

We carefully evaluate routes and consider factors such as safety, existing land uses in the area, existing transmission corridors, environmental conditions, engineering practices related to the construction and operation of the lines, and cost impact to customers associated with the construction, operation, and maintenance of the line.
