Still have questions? No problem. We’re here to answer your most pressing queries.
For CEEP, the customers can choose to sign over the rebate check(s) to a contractor or other third party. The Payee Designation Form must be completed and signed by a representative of the Georgia Power account holder and then submitted along with the rest of the application documents. Rebates for pole-mounted lighting projects must be paid to the customer.
For SBES, the rebate check covering the company’s portion is issued to the contractor. The customer is responsible for paying their share directly to the contractor.”
Yes, contractors can sign up to participate in one or both energy efficiency programs by completing the Participating Contractor application. The process to apply and receive rebates for each program is unique and can be learned through the Participating Contractor training process.
A 30-minute on-demand, in-person or virtual training is required for each program you’d like to participate in. After completing your Participating Contractor application, you will be assigned to complete the required training within 30 days to complete your onboarding.
