If you are a renter behind on your utility bill, you may be eligible to receive financial assistance through our collaboration with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA). Funding is available for a limited time and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis to Georgia Power customers who qualify. Find out if you are eligible and apply today.

You will be required to answer a few questions to determine your eligibility for utility payment assistance.
If you qualify for assistance, you will need to provide the following documents and information required to complete the application:
Email notification will be sent to you upon completing the application. Funding eligibility will be reviewed within 3-4 weeks of your submission.
You may visit the application portal to review your funding status.
Once approved, you will receive a message from Georgia DCA and a hold will be placed on your Georgia Power account to prevent service interruption for 45 days while funds are transferred.
During this time, no payment is required, and electric service will remain active.
