BAL — To receive an up-to-date balance of your PrePay account. This is the same information you would receive if you called Georgia Power, so control is at your fingertips.
ACCT — To receive your PrePay account number to use at any of our Authorized Payment Locations to make a payment. This number may also be needed when logging into your account at georgiapower.com to check your balance, make a payment, and manage your account.
PAY — To receive a link directly to the Georgia Power payment page to easily and quickly make a payment on your PrePay account. Don’t forget about the many other options we provide, such as debit card payments online for free and our many Authorized Payment Locations. Find these locations by simply texting GPPAY to 99123.
DEF — To receive an up-to-date balance in the deferred account. Use this to track your progress in reducing the debt Georgia Power allowed you to make small payments to by enrolling in PrePay.
STOP — To terminate PrePay text communications from Georgia Power. This is a permanent stop. Once this is done, you will need to update your Notifications settings to start the communications again.
