1. Schedule a no-cost energy assessment. Our program implementor will contact you to confirm eligibility and schedule a no-obligation audit.
2. Review your custom report of energy-saving opportunities. We’ll share ways to save money and energy with LED lighting and high-efficiency upgrades.
3. Make the upgrades that are right for your business. We contribute up to 70% of the project costs and manage the entire process from start to finish.

Who is eligible for this program?
The program is available to Georgia Power commercial customers with a 12-month peak demand of 120 kW or less. Email smallbiz@southernco.com to confirm your eligibility.
Will I save money on my energy bill?
By replacing older, inefficient lighting and equipment with LED lighting and high efficiency equipment, you’ll be sure to save energy. However, your overall energy usage is impacted by many factors such as the weather and changes in behavior.
If I get a free energy assessment, am I obligated to participate in the program?
No. We provide a no-cost assessment, but you’re under no obligation to move forward with the program if you don’t think it’s a good fit for you.
Do I need to find my own contractor?
No. Our Small Commercial Direct Install Program is turnkey and our team will work with you through the entire process from equipment assessment to new high-efficiency upgrades installation. ICF is the program implementer, Matrix Energy Solutions and Maryland Energy Advisors are the assessment contractors, and equipment installation will be assigned to a program contractor.
