OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
By entering this Contest, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules:
1. How to Enter. The Contest will begin on July 1, 2019 at 12:01:00 am ET and will end on July 31, 2019 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the "Contest Period"). No purchase necessary to participate or win. Purchase does not increase or enhance chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law. To enter this Contest, visit www.georgiapower.com (the "Website") and enroll in paperless billing or respond to an email sent by Georgia Power to enroll in paperless billing). Upon enrolling, the eligible entrant will automatically receive one (1) entry (an “Entry”; collectively, the “Entries”) in the promotion in the then-active Entry Week (discussed below), provided the eligible entrant remains enrolled through the end of the relevant Contest Period. The relevant Entry Week (discussed below) will be determined by Sponsor when Sponsor receives and processes the relevant entry, and, provided entrant is not chosen as a winner, the entry will “carry over” into subsequent EntryWeeks, if any are remaining, provided the eligible entrant remains enrolled through each of the relevant EntryWeeks. Opting to un-enroll from paperless billing during the Contest Period removes your eligibility for entry in the then-current Entry Week and all subsequent EntryWeeks.
Any attempt to enter by any other method is void. Information provided by eligible entrant (“Participant”) may be used by Sponsor (as defined below) in accordance with its online Privacy Policy, which may be viewed at the legal notices section of the Website. Entries must be received before the expiration of the Contest Period. Only eligible entries actually received by Sponsor before the end of the Contest Period will be included in the prize drawing. Sponsor's servers and processes are the official clock for this Contest. All Entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Limit one Entry per account per person over the Contest Period. Sponsor will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone submitting any such information or materials. All Entries must be received by 11:59:59PM ET, on July 31, 2019, when the Contest ends. After the time period for an Entry Week (discussed below) passes, it is closed for further Entries.
2. Conduct. By entering this Contest, Participants agree the decisions of Sponsor and its respective advertising and promotion agencies are final and binding in all respects and on all matters relating to this Contest. The Official Rules will be posted on the Website throughout the Contest Period. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of this Contest or any website related to this Contest, acting in violation of these Official Rules or acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like entry methods or repetitive electronic entry submissions (including, without limitation, any script, macro or sweepstakes service) will void all such entries by such methods and disqualify any Participant using any such method. Any attempt to obtain multiple entries by using multiple or different email accounts or any other methods will void all such entries and that Participant will be disqualified. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE RELATED TO THIS CONTEST OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM SUCH PARTICIPANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
3. Prize and Odds. Odds of winning are solely dependent upon the total number of eligible Entries received and when the entries are received and processed. Overall Prize Pool: one (1) verified winner will receive one (1) $50.00 Amazon® gift card for each of four (4) Entry Weeks (discussed below). For the entire Contest Period, there will be four (4) winners (composed of one (1) winner from each of the four (4) Entry Weeks). Gift card details (including, without limitation, issuer, vendor, limitations, and locations) are in Sponsor’s sole discretion and subject to change, and gift cards are subject to limitations and terms of issuer. Only the prize(s) specified in the numbers indicated above will be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable, with no cash redemption or equivalent. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component of equal or greater value should a prize or prize component become unavailable, as permitted by law. If required by law, Sponsor or its agents may require payment from winner of taxes to be remitted to the appropriate taxing authorities. Sponsor expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for injury or loss to any person or property relating to the delivery and/or subsequent use of prize(s) awarded. Sponsor makes no representation or warranties concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize awarded. Decisions of Sponsor are final in all matters relating to this Contest. Prize winner will be solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes on prizes; if applicable, winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of the prize. Prize winner will be solely responsible for any fees, surcharges and charges incurred in the receipt of the prize. All other expenses on the receipt and use of the prize not specifically mentioned herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. Except as specifically referenced herein, prize(s) do not include incidental charges, gratuities or any other items and/or expenses not specifically described herein.
4. Eligibility and Limitations. During the Contest Period, Participants and winner(s) must: (a) be legal U.S. resident legally residing in the U.S., excluding New York, Rhode Island and Florida residents, ("Eligibility Area"); (b) be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry; and (c) not be a current (prior to the date of enrollment) paperless billing customer of Sponsor or have been a paperless billing customer in the past six (6) months prior to the date of enrollment. Additionally, you are not eligible to participate if you have an account with Sponsor that is: (i) a final, inactive or closed account; (ii) an electronic data interchange (“EDI”) account; (iii) an account with a permanent pull bill; or (iv) any account placed on a “Not Eligible For Paperless Billing” status. Throughout the Contest Period, Participants and winner(s) must be a Sponsor account holder in good standing to remain eligible. DO NOT ENTER THIS CONTEST IF YOU, THE PARTICIPANT, ARE NOT A LEGAL U.S. RESIDENT OR DO NOT OTHERWISE COMPLY WITH THESE CRITERIA. Void in Puerto Rico, in U.S. Virgin Islands, anywhere outside of the U.S., anywhere outside of the Eligibility Area and where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Potential winners may be required to provide proof of legal U.S. residency if requested by Sponsor to determine eligibility and as a condition to be awarded the prize. Sponsor reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to an ineligible participant. Limited to only one (1) prize per account and/or per name and/or per mailing address for the Contest. Employees, directors and officers of the Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, dealers, distributors, suppliers, printers, participating sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, radio or television stations associated with promoter or promoting this Contest, legal advisors, web masters, web suppliers and members of the immediate families of each of the foregoing are not eligible to participate and/or win. The term "immediate family" includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws," or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household, whether or not related. In case of dispute, Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the Sponsor account.
5. Drawing/Selection. During each Entry Week (see chart below), four (4) potential winners will be selected from all eligible Entries received in accordance with these Official Rules in a random drawing as shown in the following chart (all times are Eastern Time):

The drawing will be conducted on or around the business day following each EntryWeek’s closing and will be managed internally by the Sponsor, whose decision will be final and binding in all respects. Entries submitted during the Contest Period are only eligible for this Contest and do not remain eligible for any subsequent contest, drawing or sweepstake.
6. Limitation of Liability. Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, suppliers, printers, distributors and advertising, promotional or judging agencies and agents, and their respective employees and agents, ("Released Parties") assume no responsibility or liability for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty, failed, corrupt, garbled or jumbled electronic data transmissions; (b) lost, late, damaged, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, illegible, unreadable or returned Entries; (c) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of Entries at any point in the operation of this Contest; (d) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, telephones, cables, internet, hardware, software, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Contest; (e) inaccessibility, traffic congestion or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof; (f) human error or unauthorized human intervention; or (g) any injury or damage to Participant's or to any other person's computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Contest or download any materials in the Contest. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, then Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part. Sponsor assume no responsibility or liability arising from the content of any Entries or for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger or inaccuracy of any such Entries.
7. Release. By participating in the Contest, each Participant and winner agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and agrees to release the Released Parties from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever arising out of injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, which may be sustained in connection with: accessing the website; submitting an Entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Contest; the awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, ownership, use or misuse of any prize awarded; preparing for, participating in or traveling to or from any prize-related activity; any typographical or other error in these Official Rules; or the announcement of offering of any prize. SPONSOR MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR ANY KIND CONCERNING THE APPEARANCE, SAFETY OR PERFORMANCE OF ANY PRIZE. The winner agrees to look solely to the manufacturer of such prizes for any such warranty (if any). Winner bears all risk of loss or damage to prize after it has been delivered. By accepting the prize, winner(s) consents and grants to Sponsor the right to print, publish, broadcast and use worldwide and in perpetuity in any media or format now known or hereinafter developed (including, without limitation, use online at the website, in print or in broadcast) the winner's name, address, photograph, voice, statement, picture or other likeness, without additional compensation, permission or notification, for all legitimate business purposes, including, without limitation, public relations, advertising and promotional purposes, as may be determined by Sponsor, except where prohibited by law.
8. Notification and Claiming Prize. All potential winners will be first notified by telephone or email. It is the sole responsibility of the prospective winner to confirm that your acceptance of the prize does not and will not violate any relevant laws, policies, contracts, government regulations, or other restrictions on acceptance of such prize(s). As a condition of winning the prize, each winner must comply with the following requirements within 7 days of receipt of written prize notification or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected: (1) sign, notarize, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility & Release, which where legal, will include a publicity release, and (2) provide any additional information requested, except where prohibited by law. If any of the required documents are not returned within such 7 day period, if any mail (postal) is returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address, or if the potential winner fails to comply with, and satisfy, the requirements forth in these Official Rules or is disqualified, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor's sole discretion. If winner makes any false statement(s) in any of the documents mentioned above, the winner will be required to promptly return the prize to Sponsor. Any unclaimed prize(s) will be awarded in a random drawing to be held as necessary. Unless otherwise noted, allow 4 weeks for delivery of prizes by mail following completion of notification process.
9. General Conditions. Prizes will only be awarded and delivered to addresses within the United States. Upon delivery to winner's address, Sponsor is deemed to have awarded the prize to the winner with the winner assuming full responsibility for such prize. Any portion of a prize not accepted by winner will be forfeited. Prize will be awarded, provided it is properly claimed. Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, not redeemable for cash value or not exchangeable for any other prize, except as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The conduct of the Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize(s). It is Participant's responsibility to ensure that Participant has complied with all the conditions contained in these Official Rules.
10. Winner's List. For a list of winner(s), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Georgia Power Paperless Sweepstakes - Winner List Request, Georgia Power, 241 Ralph McGill Blvd. NE, Bin #10098, Atlanta, Georgia, 30308. All requests must be received by September 1, 2019. Only one request per outer mailing envelope. Winners list will be sent when the prize(s) have been awarded.
