In addition, electricity usage and the time of day you charge your vehicle will also affect the price. However, compared with gasoline, you will see savings of greater than 70% on fuel costs.

Does Georgia Power offer a special rate for Electric Vehicle drivers?

Yes, we currently offer the residential plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) rate that is a time-of-use pricing that offers a lower price to support overnight charging (11pm-7am).
