Georgia Power customers meeting at least one of the below may qualify for a discount on your energy bill:
- Be 65 years of age or older who’s household meets the income qualification requirements
- Receive Social Security Disability Insurance
- Receive Supplemental Security Income
- Participate in the federal Housing Choice Voucher Program (HUD Section 8)
Discount Availability
Availability for qualified customers is limited to the following residential retail rate schedules:
- Residential Service
- FlatBill
- Time of Use
- Time of Use – Overnight Advantage
- Time of Use – Residential Demand
- Pre-pay Service
- Pay By Day Service
