We’re Here For You

We're here for Georgia every day, in life's big moments and everyday routines. Whether it’s taking action to keep energy costs stable, proactively planning to support our growing state while keeping energy reliable, or lending a helping hand by investing in communities all across Georgia, we’re here to keep you connected and help you thrive.

Here’s how we’re working for Georgia today, and preparing for what’s ahead.

Keeping Costs Stable and Predictable

We're taking steps to keep energy costs stable and predictable as Georgia grows and energy demand rises. Through long-term planning in coordination with state leaders, we're working to prepare for the energy needs of the future while keeping customer costs stable.

Beyond offering flexible rate plans and easy-to-use energy-saving tools, we've worked to:

  • Freeze base rates despite rising utility costs
  • Plan for long-term affordability amid rapid state growth
  • File requests to lower costs for customers

Building a Stronger, More Reliable Energy System

With new businesses and residents moving in, Georgia is one of the fastest-growing states in the nation. And with increased growth, comes an increased demand for energy.

We're planning proactively and prepared to reliably meet this rising demand by:

  • Investing in grid strength and stability
  • Using smart technology to detect preventable outages and respond to issues more quickly
  • Preparing for severe weather and changing conditions throughout the year

Supporting and Serving Our Communities

Georgia is our home. And we're committed to making the communities where we live and work thrive—today and for generations to come. That’s why for more than 140 years, we've invested in our communities across the state through volunteerism, partnerships, and programs that support local growth, protect our environment, and engage our neighbors.

In 2025, we're proud to say we totaled:

  • $33.7 million in total giving from Georgia Power, the Georgia Power Foundation, and our employees
  • 1,000+ organizations supported
  • 88,000 volunteer hours
