Martin Luther King Day at Georgia Power

On January 15, 2018, thousands of volunteers across the state participated in Martin Luther King Jr. Service Day in partnership with Citizens of Georgia Power. From volunteering in homeless shelters to helping to repair and build homes and shelters, Georgia Power employees spent a “DAY ON” to help those in their communities.

Georgia Power and its employees are passionately committed to supporting their local neighborhoods, and the company participates in four statewide community projects: Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, Earth Day, Relay for Life and the Red Cross. Click here to read more about these projects.
