Update for PrePay and Pay by Day Customers

Important update to PrePay and Pay by Day Terms and Conditions

The Prepay and Pay by Day Terms and Conditions have been updated. Beginning October 1, a minimum of five dollars ($5) positive balance will be required to restore service if disconnected.

Please review the terms and conditions for PrePay or Pay by Day for more information.

Deferred Balance Information

The Deferred Balance is an outstanding balance prior to establishing PrePay or Pay by Day (or negative dollars moved during COVID-19). The balance is placed in a Deferred Payment Plan which allows customers to pay the balance off in smaller increments over time.

As part of this plan, 25% of each payment will be applied to the Deferred Balance owed and 75% will be applied to Dollars Remaining. After the outstanding balance is repaid, 100% of each payment will apply towards Dollars Remaining.

A late payment charge of 1.5% is applied to the total amount outstanding in the Deferred Balance each month. Currently, the late payment charge is being waived and will resume in April 2021.
